No, It use's HTML 4.01 Transitional.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

VSD won't have the capability to produce html5 sites. For that you need to use the CC HTML Editor.
I think Eric's dog is named Chip.
