How to download a .vsd file from my web host? My hard drive crashed and my sites are still live, but to do any up dates I need to have the file. Is there a way?

The VNU file is not stored on your server. It is only located on your local computer. If you have lost it, unfortunately you will need to re-create your Website.

Is the drive "dead" dead, like clicking or not spinning? I only ask to be sure since files could be recovered if the issue is more of an error in Windows not booting. Everyone's definition of "crash" varies though, so I wanted to make sure.

thanks for your replies. I took it to a pc repair store in my city. they said they could back up my data from my laptop.
I hope they can. Lesson for me , back up data.
