How to change underlying graphics in...
Sorry for the NOOB questions.
I am finding that your software is in general great for creating but less than intuitive after that for what I think is simple editing. I created a new Vintage themed site (mikerovak.coffeecup.com). I then used the HTML editor and other tools to discover how to replace the Vintage header at the top with my own Under Construction banner, no problem.
However, after publishing the site to S-Drive, now I cannot figure out how to replace any of the graphics in the menu. For example, I am trying to insert a Photo Gallery into the Services page and by examining the HTML for the main page, tried to replace the SERVICES graphics with my own GALLERY graphics as a first step.
No matter what I do, both VSD and S-Drive refuse to recognize my files even though I actually OVERWROTE files of the same name in the files subfolder, and what is really getting my goat is that my overwrites are reversed when saving or previewing the finished product in either VSD or S-Drive even after a manual upload to S-Drive of the new files to replace the old ones.
I know it's a case of being smarter than the tool, and I am a NOOB after all, and a dangerous one because I know just enough to produce a continuous stream of support issues, if you will please forgive me!

You should be able to right click on the image in VSD and delete it then use the image tool and browse to your new one.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks, Eric, BUT...
I did exactly what you said. I then saved my project, and previewed it. The preview showed the old graphics, with the added feature that the mouse-over on the menu item represented by the graphic no longer works.
This is EXACTLY what I mean above.
Still listening...

Mike, there are 2 graphics for each menu item. An original, and a mouseover. These 2 graphics must be the same size to work. I do not know what font was used to create these graphics so matching them will be difficult. Best thing to do is create your own graphics using whatever font you prefer. Then delete the menu and insert your own.
Or you can use a simple text menu. Simply delete the menu that is in the theme. Use the 'text' tool to create your menu items, using the font and size you prefer. Then highlight each one, one at a time, and select the 'link' option from the top menu. Link each menu item to the page you'd like. If you go to the top menu and select 'setting/stand settings for new pages' then you can set the colors for the links, as well as the underline.
Let us know if you need more help.

Yes, thank you, I believe intuitively that your suggestion will work and I'll try it next..
Not a criticism, but I would dearly love to see VSD enhanced so that elements like menus and so forth could be edited directly as objects within VSD with live links to the other utilities so that the whole system works with complete integration and no hand editing at all. That would make simple edits, well, effortless in comparison.
I'd pay real money for an upgrade like that.
You would completely blow away all your competition with a product like that -- it would be killer.
BTW, I'm a professional programmer looking for a job...

This is a user forum. We don't work for CoffeeCup, we just like the product! They stop in once in a while but if you really want to talk to the developers, you'd have to open a support topic. Just go to the top menu under your name and select 'Your Support Room'.
