Hello everyone,

Please allow me to run an idea by you.

I use VSD as a shopping cart creator and for the most part I like it. I have tried “shopping cart creator” but for my purposes I like VSD better (it seems to give me more flexibility). The only problem I am having is on the home page where I have multiple items displayed if I make a change to the the top image on the page it will be the last image to load. I am concerned that when customers come to my website and images at the bottom of the page are loading before images at the top they make think that the page is not going to load and navigate away.

So here is what I thought I would try. I will create and insert a table with the images, description, price, and link to the products page with a HTML editor and insert it with VSD HTML tool.

Will this be the best way to work around this problem?

Thanks,
yeto

Since VSD uses absolute positioning, there is no way to control the order in which the images appear.

Wouldn't a preload script speed up the loading of images?

This could be a place to go: http://www.netmechanic.com/news/vol6/css_no18.htm

It can be done with java script too. You just have to google for it.
