Hi people - I am a newbie and have just created a site using a theme. I first published to S drive and found that a totally different theme showed up.

I then tried to publish to my ftp address and do not understand all that the programme is looking for in terms of server details etc. Can anyone help, please. I am excited to see my work and am being frustrated at the last point.

This is my ftp: ftp.diversitytraininginsouthafrica.com

Your host should have gave you the needed info.
Nickname: What ever you want
Server: mydomain.com
Username: Host provided or setup when you created the account.
Password: Host provided or setup when you created the account.
Remote folder: public_html (Most are this)

Now test the connection.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)
http://esmansgreenhouse.com
This is a site I built for use in my job.(HTML Editor)
https://pestlogbook.com
This is my personal site used for testing and as an easy way to share photos.(RLM imported to RSD)

Hi Eric,
Thanks tons for your support. I tried the above - without the public_html and the link tested ok.

I then published and the programme went through all of the uploading steps, however there is no sign of the site, images and files in my Hostica account.

What can I be doing wrong?

Change the public_html to diversitytraininginsouthafrica.com
