Hi,

when I create a link in VSD connected to text or an object, the link path is shown when I put the cursor on the object/text on the actual website. Is there an option to hide this?

Thanks!

No, that's a basic browser feature and you really want it to show because your going to scare off users when they can't see where a link is talking them.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks Eric!
I agree with you; but sometimes (f.ex. digital downloads etc) I think it's useful if there was the option... just my 2 cents.

For secure links you want to create them dynamically with some scripts so that they only exist for either a set time or the moment the user clicks on it.

Thanks Eric! That makes sense. Can I create secure dynamic links with VSD? I am sorry, I am no genius when it comes to creating websites :).

It's really beyond the capabilities of VSD. It's best to use some kind of service that will allow you to display links to users and the service will handle the protection of the content. Paypal has the capabilities if your selling stuff and want to deliver it digitally. There's a few services out there that offer digital download security. Google it and you should get a bunch. Really depends on what your links are going to and why you want them hidden.:)

Thanks again! I found a few a few threads here in the forum which mention programs like linklok; I guess I will use that in the end. Thank you so much for your time, Eric!
