The latest version of the software uses a JavaScript to work around the Internet Explorer Eolas issue. The "Form Object" message will display in the visitor's browser if you've forgotten to upload the "swfobject.js" file to your server, or if they do not have Flash installed. Since Adobe installs the Flash player separately for each browser, make sure you visit http://www.adobe.com/ in IE, Firefox, or any other browsers you may be using.

I can't seem to get answers that solve my problems, espiecally in a timely manner. That is frustrating to me. I removed a completely wonderful site that used front page to use Coffee Cup, now all kinds of strange things are happening. Want to talk about NEWBIE, that would be me. I don't know anything about websites except what I learned building one here. So as I am learning and things are not working, I'm confused where to go.

My site was working beautifully, well some gliches, but I was able to figure them out, now I am horrified. When customers go to my site and click on the class calendar, a blank page with the words form object now appear, my response from the company is above (start of the thread) and I don't have a clue what they are talking about. When I preview on my computer, it shows everything there, when I go to another computer, there is still nothing there. I don't know where to find the "swfobjects" file to upload to my server, it would have nice to have been guided there.

Hi Tarie,
when you made whatever your trying to add (coffeecup program) which would be helpful to know-when you saved it it would have made a file called swfobject.js, this needs to be uploaded with which ever program you made -same directory.
Are you using html editor? Visual Site Designer?
Are you using Vista IE7-6-8?
thanks for the help.:)

Hey Tarie on another note if your using Visual Site Designer you could use the flash tool -below the html tool- to add your project and VSD will add all the files needed to make it work. FYI thingy....:)

I ge t the message sometimes on my site as well

make some changes here.. add a preiod to a sentence there.. and then your CC form is gone after your next upload.

When that happens I open up the CC form builder and re-upload whatever form went down.. for whatever reason.

My experience won't solve your problem now..but it might come in handy later.

It is important to remember that if the form (or player) shows up with one browser, youi know that all required files are present on the website. If you then view that page with another browser, and you see the Form Object message, you need to install Adobe Flash for that browser. If you have many different browsers installed, you may need to visit the Adobe installation for each browser.

Once I know everything is present on my sites, I like to change the code. I replace the words "Form Object" with something that will help the visitors to my site know what is missing from the browser. I use something like this:
If you are viewing this, you likely do not have flash installed. You can install the latest version of <a href="http://www.adobe.com/go/EN_US-H-GET-FLASH">Adobe Flash</a>

Hope this helps someone.
