I'm building a test site right now and I need to add a calendar script to a few of my pages. I only need the information within the header just on those particular pages. Whenever I insert it on the page and I publish the pages, the script shows up underneath the title, etc. I need for it to be right under the header at the top of the page. I place it in the header and for some reason, it makes the page messed up, not centered so I need to place the script right below the header at the top of the page. Not a problem to go and manually do it but whenever I make changes to any of my pages and publish, I will have to go and change it in the file manager.

I need the script to be placed here

<title> LIV RV Lots - RV Lot Rentals LIV - Long Island Lot Rentals - LongIslandVillage.com </title>

<style type="text/css">

BUT FOR SOME REASON, WHEN I PUT THE SCRIPT IN THE HEADER ON THE WEBPAGE ITSELF, IT SHOWS UP WAY BELOW THE TITLE AND OTHER IMAGES. IF THE SCRIPT CAN REMAIN IN PLACE AT THE TOP RIGHT BELOW THE HEADER AND ABOVE THE OTHER STUFF SUCH AS THE TITLE, ETC, MY PAGE WILL BE FINE AND I NEVER HAVE TO GO AND CHANGE IT IN THE FILE MANAGER.

Am I doing something wrong?

This is what it looks like when the script is placed in the header section of the v site designer webpage. When i publish it, it comes out like this. Page is off the center.

http://www.cbmaa.com/test/test/rv-lot-rentals.html

This is what it looks like when I go into the file manager and place the script right below the header.

http://www.cbmaa.com/test/rv-lot-rentals.html

This is what I need for it. The top one shows just one calendar example but this one is what I need for it to be like.

I solved the problem with figuring out why it was doing that, moving the script higher in the file manager, but everytime I publish the page or site, I will have to go and change it. I'm hoping there's a way to make the vir site design format where when I add the script to the header, it automatically goes to the top underneath the header instead of toward the bottom of the header.

Can you help me?

Place the script inside an html box Body HTML on your page then drag the html box to the position you want your calendar and preview.:)

Do you mean the script that they told me to put in header

<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="/abcalendar/css/calendar.css" />
<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="/abcalendar/ajax.php?controller=calendars&action=css&cid=16" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="/abcalendar/js/custom.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/abcalendar/js/front.js"></script>
<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="/abcalendar/css/preview.css" />

or the script that actually lays out the calendar?

Place that part in the header html of the html box.

I removed that script from the "add header" section on the top of the page and added the html box with the script for the header part and the other script for the calendar part in the body. It's publishing right now. Is there anyway to publish just one page at a time or do I have to publish the entire site everytime? Just curious:)

It does the same thing it did before. It becomes off center, the script shows up lower in the page, and for some reason, there's a gray line that goes down the sides to the bottom, think it's part of the background color.

When I change the script in the file manager to higher on the page, it looks centered and fine, no gray lines, etc.

I placed the html and spread it right below the picture of RV Lot N. That comes out fine, it's just for some reason, the main template becomes off center(checked all browsers) and those side gray lines show up. I believe the background color becomes lighter for some reason.

<script type="text/javascript" src="/abcalendar/load.php?cid=3&view=3"></script>

This is the script that I put in the body of the html box
