What is the effect of leaving a grid or guideslines visible while saving? Does this affect the saved html code? Do I need to remove the grid or guides before I save?

From what I've seen if you save a project with the grid lines visible they will be there the next time you open it. There's no alteration to the html so you can leave them visible while your working with your site. I usually hide them ounce a site is near completion.
