I'm trying to modify my website to be iPad friendly and I've hit upon a snag.
If I set the page background using the gradient tool it works on a PC and Mac in my browser. However, view it on the iPad and the background is corrupt.
Anyone with a computer and Ipad can look here:

Gradient on VSD - ok on PC doesn't...
I'm not seeing a gradient on my PC in firefox, and the file Page1_IMG_BCK.jpg doesn't seen to be on your website, possibly your seeing your website on the local computer and it didn't upload to the server completely

I've been checking in 5 browsers: no gradient background. My guess is the same as David's.
If you get it to display for computers but not on Ipads, it could be that there is something - like flash - that isn't working for Ipads, Iphones etc.
What if you create a gradient background as an image, just a small strip about 5px wide and enough height to cover the height of any viewport, and then use that as the page background?
