I've layed out shapes on my page by creating boxes with the shapes tool and a solid color. Now when I try to drag my transparent logo it hides behind the shapes (rectangles the width of the page). I think I need to create a background instead of the shapes but how do I do that? At the top of my page is about 100 pixels of a beige color then 40 pixels of a black and then 40 pixels of a burgundy then white. I'm tying to place the gif on the beige strip. what am I doing wrong?

At the top of VSD click on "Object" then "Arrange" then send to front or back depending on which element you select.
