GIF picture w/black background - Post...
I have recently upgraded to VSD 6. My site is not yet live. I have changed my logo and need to replace to old one. I have a gif image, which I resized and set transparent background using Publisher 2007. This what I did with my old logo and was able to drop it in bautifully to my site.
Now it transfers larger than it should and with a black background. When I preview the site, the black background doesn't show, by my logo looks awful.
Any suggestions?

Make sure not to rotate or re-size the logo in Visual Site Designer. VSD is not a graphics editor, all image manipulation needs to be handled in a graphics program.
Transparent GIF and PNG will show up with a black background but when you upload or preview, the blank background will become transparent.

I resize using Publisher and saving as a gif - just as I did before. The black background changes my image - when previewing you can see the edges of the logo look jagged and have white areas near them.
Why was this changed with VSD 6?

I would suggest submitting a support ticket and send us the image so we can see what the issue is.
