Not a problem, also I have your problem figured for the theme. Not sure who designed that theme, but I don't think they were thinking too clearly when they made the color of links white on a white background lol.

The reason you can't get them to change is because they are ruled by settings in a CSS section of the html files which overrides anything you do manually to them for the most part. So to fix this issue it will take a couple minutes or so at most.
  • Open your site in VSD, at the top choose the Settings Menu choice
  • Choose the top choice of Standard Settings For New Pages...
  • On the left side of the window that opened there is a pulldown menu on the window that opened called Load Existing Page Settings, pull that menu down and choose a page, any page at all.
  • On the right side you'll see the little boxes toward the bottom for the Page link colors:
The unvisitied is when people first see the link, and the visited is for once someone clicks it. Change those 2 colors to the colors you want it to be for your links.
  • On the bottom left is an Apply to All Pages button, press that and then say yes on the small box that opens after that.

Your links are now no longer white :)

I got your files, and the screenshot may have helped. Try typing theweddingmeister.com in the Host Server box and see if that connects you.

Hallelujah! I knew the setting was there somewhere but I think I've been just so darned frustrated, I couldn't find it.
Thanks.
I tried uploading the photo gallery to no avail either. I'll email you a screen shot of the error I get.

I am hoping that that Hallelujah! means it worked? The photogallery will need to be adjusted the same way as any other programs that may be using the FTP will. All your Coffee Cup Software that utilizes that same FTP window should automatically be updated though for uploading once you have access to it in any CC program.

The problem is that your domain doesn't exist according to the web. Is this a brand new domain and just not completely setup yet? Or have you already had this domain for a while. I tried going to http://www.409southmainstreet.com/ but it doesn't exist.

That would be most likely why you were unable to connect to that one before. The problem in your screen shot is that there is no such thing as "southmainstreet" host server, that only exists as a folder in a subdomain at the moment.

Yes, hallelujah is it worked so I've got the links right. Is there any reason that they both can't be the same color ie red? I set them up with different shade of red.
I bought the domain Friday & LP told me it was all set up & ready to go. Maybe not, huh?

How do I get back to the Host Server Box? Maybe I need to talk to LP?

Did you buy the domain through LP? If so they should have had it already working by now, usually it's 72 hours or less, most times I've purchased a domain and it's been working within a matter of a few hours, but it could be because it's a weekend, not sure if every company does this stuff all the time or takes weekends off for stuff like this or not.

You can put any color you like in there, there's no conflicts that can occur, it will just be the same whether it's been clicked or not (I tend to want it this way too since I like to make my page stay the same colors regardless of clicked links hehe).

I would have to know which program you're trying to get to the Host Server Box in to know what to answer for that question.

Yes, I bought it through LP & I've never had to wait before.

When I went to upload the gallery, contact us form & jukebox the Host Server Box came back up & I changed it to theweddingmeister.com & I think it's working. We'll see.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
