So you're trying to upload your files via your CPanel and not through a seperate FTP program or any of the CC programs? This makes a difference in how to answer you which is why I asked it a few times or said I was assuming how you were doing it hehe. Answer these questions, and that might help us know how to answer you better :)

1. How exactly are you trying to upload your files (in other words what program or method)?

2. What location are you trying to upload your files to exactly? (the more exact the name the better we can tell you what might be wrong, don't disclose exact pathways if it is needing to be private areas though)

Let's start there and see if we can get this working for you today :)

Thank you for trying to help. I've never had this much trouble starting a new site.
I'm using CC's VSD as well as CC's Form Builder to upload

I'm not sure I understand your 2nd question. I use LunarPages as my host if that's what you're asking.

No prob, I know how frustrating FTP can be lol. When you setup the FTP in your programs, you had to setup a default folder or root folder (or you had it detect what the root folder was) that's what we need to know, where is the program trying to upload the files to. Since that site is a paid hosting I can't test it with making an account lol, darn them!

At LunarPages, when I go to the control panel, go to public_html file then it shows my index page as
File URL: http://www.theweddingmeister.com/southm … index.html

southmainstreet is a subdomain under www.theweddingmeister.com

ok then that is exactly where you need to upload all the form files for your site, everything you do would go into that subdomain for that site. If you reference anything in links or menus and if it's within that subdomain you can use relative links instead of full web addresses same as you would if you were accessing the main theweddingmeister.com site.

In other words, you upload everything for that site to the directory:
/public_html/southmainstreet/ and it's subdirectories should you make some.

What program is giving you the error? Both of them? or just one and which one?

The CC form builder doesn't seem to recognize southmainstreet. The file is on LunarPages. I just manually uploaded the files to LP but there seems to be something about the CC Form Builder that's just not connecting.

I'm guessing that it's how it's setup in the upload part of the Form Builder, let me set mine up and make sure that it works for me too, and I'll let you know shortly.

I don't know. It may be a glitch in the template I'm using, Swirl & Splatter. I also can't get it to recognize a link. When I type in the address I want to hotlink, it shows up but as soon as I type in where to link it to, it disappears. Well, I actually discovered that the type is turning white like the background is so I'm having to make a "black" spot then the white type'll show up. I really like this template but...
I have a lot of trouble with the Ivy template. What the template shows on my screen is different from the preview as well as online.
Of course, I pick out the ones with glitches - at least that's what it seems like.

Well hmm, I've tested the upload function of the Form Builder and it worked fine for me so the program itself is not the problem. I wouldn't think a website template would interrupt anything to do with the uploading of a file, not to discount it completely though, stranger things have happened lol.

I've tested my form and it shows up, and it's just exactly how I set it up, and the emails came to me when i tested it, so it's all working as it should as far as on my end.

Soooo, now the tediousness starts, we definitely need to figure out how you have your FTP setup in the Form Builder, as I think that's where the culprit is. Lets first get this form builder problem working, then we can try to get you some help with your theme problem, I'll have to actually mess around with it a bit to see how it works as I don't use the VSD at all as of yet, only been using HTML Editor, but that don't mean I can't try to see if it works weird for me too :)

Are you able to setup another account on your FTP server that I can try to access and see if it uploads for me? If so, could you email me the files you are attempting to upload and I'll check them for you and if they look right I will try to upload them? If you're comfortable doing this that is. If so you can email me at kariahnna1@yahoo.com with the files. Please DO NOT email me your ID and PW for your own account as "I'm" not comfortable with that responsibility lol. If you're able to create a fully new ID and PW for me to use instead that would be better, with only access to your site area.

If you're not comfortable with that then let me know and we'll work with seeing if we can get your server details here without any ID's or PW's just as it shows in your FTP setup in the Form Builder. I'm still thinking that's where the trouble lies is that something isn't setup correctly there.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
