How do I put a top frame on VSD?

Not sure what you mean by a "top frame" but, in pretty much all cases, you introduce traditional HTML elements into VSD pages by placing an HTML placeholder where you want the element to be, sized appropriately, and enter the HTML code into the provided area. That would include frames, iframes, or whatever.

Hi! I have a new problem, this time with iframe, i'm gonna use this topic to not open a new one.

I have added the classic FB like button to my site, as an iframes, it works good, the hard part was make it shows the correct informations in fb profile (such as right picture, link, information), but i make it at the end. Now the problem is that i don't know how to move that iframe in bottom right corner of my homepage, currently is in "middle-top" position and my attempts to move it failed all :D

Can someone help me?

here's the site ---> (with my new slider thanks to this forum) 3bluce.it

Ivan, how did you put the FB iframe into your page?
If you use the HTML tool and insert the iframe code into the HTML box, you can drag/drop that box anywhere you want on your page.

Hi Ivan,
You need to place the code into an HTML box and paste it into the Body html not the header html. Make the change and all will be cool.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Always assume VSD has a way for you to do something before running all over the internet trying to find it
Get familiar with the HTML tool, Edit > Add Files and Edit > Edit Header – then you can customize your site to no end.
Glad you're on your way :D

Hey Ivan, or anyone else who wants to jump in, why use a frame?

Frames were deprecated in HTML5 (but not iFrames) and they are generally considered a poor design option. I'm not criticizing here, just asking and learning.

And BTW your website pops. Very slick looking.

We're talking Iframes here, not the old lay-out framesets.
Code snippet choices for Facebook and Twitter include Iframes, and it's a really easy way to include a bit of outside code within a VSD page. ;)

Ahhh my choice is pretty simple to explain, i have tried different ways to insert fb like button and that iframe was the simpler way to add it correctly, perhaps is not the best but for me that i'm not so pro in html&co. worked well.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
