Is there a way to create a footer in VSD? That is, something that will ride at the bottom of the page (say a navbar) that will always be visible no matter the page length. A related question: how do you create pages that are longer than the default page size VSD provides?

I'm not sure about a footer, but making a page longer is easy. First right click on any page that you want to edit (make longer), and select Show Properties Window. Then select Page Properties. In this box you can set the length of the page by pixels. If you want to have all the pages the same length (?) you can do that under Settings, then select Standard Settings for New Windows.
