Flash menu causes IE 8 and safari to...

Dear CC Users,

Recently I've done some work on my flash menu using FMB 3.5. After I've uploaded the changes, I can't fully load the menu in either IE 8 or Safari. After waiting a few minutes, I try to click one of the buttons that did load and it crashes the website. It is usually down for a minute or two afterwards as I've used the ping command to see when the server comes back online. I've also checked with Go Daddy to see if it something on their end, but it is not, as both FF 4 and Google Chrome both work with no issues whatsoever.

I've put a support ticket in but they were unable to reproduce my issue using the following scenarios:

IE 7/8/9
Firefox 4 (Win and OSX)
Chrome (Win and OSX)
Safari (Win and OSX)
Opera on Windows

Tested on XP/SP4 and Windows 7 64-bit using Adobe Flash 10.1.X

I've had at least 5 people tell me they've had the same issue with the flash menu not loading that I described above. All were using either XP with IE8 and Service pack 3 or WIN 7 with IE9 with the latest service pack. Safari 5 also does not work properly as well.

I'm using VSD Version 7, build 24 and FMB Version 3.5. If any of you kind folks could simply go to the website using either Safari, XP, or WIN 7 and let me know if there are issues, it would be greatly appreciated. If you have a possible solution, that would be even better!

Thanks!

Try getting rid of the underscore in the name. Just a thought.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks for your response. I re-created the menu with a one word name and it still appears to be acting up in IE. Just curious, did you get the site to load the menu correctly in IE?

Thanks

I have just viewed the site with Safari 5.0.5 and IE9 on Win7. No problem at all. Have you fixed it?

Eric, which underscore?

I want to also point out it works fine when I preview the site within VSD using IE. I just had a friend check and it didn't load for him as well. Not sure what could be causing it to act this way. Could it be a local issue?

I don't see the submit button in FX 4 or IE 9

You're right about that, I didn't even notice. Would that affect the way the pages load?

Even the mail_list opened fine here in the two afore mentioned browsers.

I don't think the missing submit button will have any impact on the loading of the page. But of course, better to add one in.

He forgot the submit button and got it up by the time I loaded chrome.:lol::lol:
The mail_list looks good to me also.:/

I just tried you form and it appeared to work but you don't have a redirect setup to confirm the submission. Might be something to think about.:)

No Eric, I did not touch any of that. I just re-added the submit button. Wondering why it is using mail_list.xml when I specifically uploaded mail.xml.
