Bill which of your sites were you having the problem?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)

This is a site I built for use in my job.(HTML Editor)

The site I am most concerned about is mtnhealth.org

It is a group of health clinics in rural San Diego that did not have a web presence, so I set up the site for them. Now, a couple years later, they are pretty dependent on it. It has grown from 6 pages to 28 pages.

Is there something different happening with 7.0 when changes are made to the site, than what 6.0 did?

The process used to check each page on the local computer, then just upload the changes. Now it takes a lot longer to check each page, but it seems like it uploads the entire site, not just the pages that changed.

Scott, the jpeg files are a bit larger than the final re-sized ojne, but not by much. I usually resize to 440 wide before I place them in the file directory that VSD uses to fetch the jpeg from.

There were countless changes to what version 7.0 has over version 6, but the FTP portion itself has really remained unchanged since version 5.9. Did you try making those DEP setting adjustments?

Also, don't be shy, give S-Drive a try. (ouch, sorry for the jingle there)....

I made all the DEP settings adjustments and rebooted, did not seem to have any impact.

I haven't had time to read up on S-Drive yet, but I don't own or control the server or domain for mtnhealth.org I simply have user access to their server to upload their websiet to it, so I'm not sure that S-Drive could help this.

Besides, as you mentioned, the FTP part of the system has not changed, but something is very different about how 7.0 saves and uploads.

Scott, if you would like to have direct access to the computer I use to do this and see for yourself what is going on , I could arrange that over the phone.

This is something we do as well for our priority phone support with LogMe In. Just give our office a call Bill and Suzanne can make the arrangements. Our number is 678.495.3480 and we open at 9am EST.
