I'm trying the simplest of designs right now. Background image. Text box over it. Text link to a pdf file. The pdf link is not being preserved, and neither is the save of the entire document. The text boxes disappear and so do the pdf links. Does anyone know why this would happen?

Could it be that you are trying to create the link while the textbox still has a red border? If so, that won't work, and you will see, if you try to create a link and click on 'use link', that the checkmark won't stay.

You have to click once outside the text box in order to let it have a blue border, then creating links and saving them should work.

There was an older version that had linking problems, I would like to suggest that you first look and make sure that you have the latest build ( 6.06 ), if you are not sure you can select the following options: help> about.

If you do have an outdated version you may want to download the latest version off our website ( http://www.coffeecup.com/help/ ).

Just a friendly note the text must have a red border and be highlighted to make a link.
