Hello, I am wondering if anyone on the forum can help me as I am not getting any help from the support of CC. I am trying to upload my new website and keep getting this error message. Error while uploading. Progam could not create a catalog. I am not a great programer but do ok and have designed and run several websites before with different programs. I just have never run across this problem before.....it is extremely frustrating. I just bought the CC design software and am seriously regretting it now. Thank you in advance for any help that you can give me.

I understand what you are saying, I really do, however I do not have alot of spare time to do the website for my business so every minute counts for me. When I had the trial version I always had a responce within 30 minutes to any question, however since I purchased the program I am not getting the same support. I purchased the CC solely for the photo gallery and thought it would be easier to use the same program for the entire website, I am finding that I was very wrong and am now told that even though I can not get it to work I am stuck with it and it is doing me absolutly no good. I thought I would try a deffernt avenue of support comming on the forum and was chastised for effort. I am sorry that I tried to see if anyone else was having the same problem, I though that was what the forum was for.

I did not mean to chastise you. In your e-mail you said "I am not getting any help from the support of CC" I was just stating that you just e-mailed us today and only a few hours ago. We do our best to respond as fast as possible. Sometimes we can reply in minutes and other times it can be hours. It just depends on how many people are in front of you. We do guarantee a 24 hour turn around for all e-mailed questions.

Thank you Bruce for your offer to help. I am hosting with Act Now Domains, I spent some time with their customer support this morning and have also uploaded a website design to the domain running on a different program. That all worked fine and there is no problem on their end. I have Windows Vista as my operating system and that is completly up to date. When I discovered that I was having problems I ran a complete check on my entire system and found no problems I also made sure that CC was allowed through the firewall and my security system.

I am new to Coffee Cup and really love the effects that I can use, I have created my best site to date (in my opinion ) but I am running low on ideas on how to solve this problem.

did you fill in the settings as needed to the ftp settings as mentioned in Act Nows support?
Sure there correct?
I have a test server you can use to try it out if your sure everything is correct. go to settings>ftp setting> make sure inputs are correct.
ftp server: ftp.website.com OR website.com
user:
pass:
www folder: blank

I have tried a test server already along with triple checking the settings to the settings at ActNowDomains. The last time I even copied and pasted them to the CC settings just incase I was missing something. The test server worked just fine. The only setting that I would question is the folder setting. ActNow Domains doesn't require a folder name but CC does. I have tried public, just a /, my username, my domain name. I am very new to CC and this is the first website that I am trying out since purchasing CC. Is there anything else that you could think of that I should try?
