Hi There

I had the previous version of VSD, when I went to upgrade from my account, I keep getting errors. So I uninstalled the previous version and decided to start from scratch. The error I am getting now is

Error 1316. A Network error occurred while attempting to read from the file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Wise Installation Wizard\GLC335F.tmp

Help!!

So which version are you getting this error on? And is this error occurring when you are trying to install or upload a website?

Oh, ok sounds like you might just have a bad download. Completely take off VSD from your computer and redownload from CC's website. Then reinstall the new download, that should take care of it.

Hi There,

I have done that already. That is the problem. I thought I had explained that above?? I have tried to re-download it 4 times and each time i get the same error mid installation. I have been successful at installing it on another computer, but not mine.

THanks

This is an operating system issue as far as I can tell by searching Google. You can see all sorts of other programs have this same problem:

It appears to be a conflict with Office. A few articles state the Microsoft Cleanup Utility can help.

Sounds like you need to put a support ticket in. You can do that at the top of the screen under support.

Giving the people what they want is fundamentally and disastrously wrong. The people don’t know what they want. They want to be entertained, that’s all. Don’t give the people what they want – give ‘em something better!
