I have never used or installed a previous version of VSD.:/
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I hope the Update is coming soon. I can't get by this error now. I was working with a html box got the error and I cleared it. VSD stayed running but as soon as I click on the page again it deletes 90% of my content.:(

Should be out any time now. We are testing it, but I'm really no use at this, because I've never had the improper argument anyway, despite Win7/64.

Just installed the latest up-date today. I opened a site (unpublished) to make some changes/additions. When I previewed it, one object was missing that showed up just fine within VSD. Went back to VSD, and the object was gone. What I did next brought up the Improper Argument warning....

The object is an arrow (with link) grouped with a text link on a button. I've got a text box then the grouped link object below the text box and it all sits on top of a rectangle shape. The button link still showed up, but the arrow didn't, even though the bounding box was still the same size as if it were still there. I tried un-grouping the arrow and button, and the arrow re-appeared, then went to Object > move to front. Got the Improper Argument warning while at the same time, all images and graphics disappeared from the page. But unlike before, I could close the warning box. Before panic set in, I tried Edit > undo and got everything back to normal, then deleted the arrow and button. I made another button with text (not with the Buttonizer, just a rectangle with button text) and it works just fine.

Could this be something to do with having a shape on top of another shape? I think at one point the arrow/button bounding box may have been overlapping the rectangle's box. Maybe it's just me

Paintbrush, I would zip your site up and send it to the CC guru's. I've been in contact with Scott as I have found a new way to pop this error. Sounds like your getting the same results where it deletes content off the page your working on after moving objects to front or back. I just closed without saving and got back to where I was.

I can't get my zipped folder to upload, keep getting the message that it has to be under 10 MB. Well, even unzipped, it's less than that (7.21 MB). I've sent other sites before with no problem, maybe this whole day is just one big Improper Argument!
Will move a copy of the site onto my old Vista clunker and try it from there. After a few cocktails....:P

Try just uploading the zip file to your website and paste the download link in the support ticket.
