Odd. I have Flash and use it regularly. But all I get is a new tab opening, a big black square, and what looks like a progress bar in the middle that is stuck on 98% :(

You need to have Flash installed. Go to www.adobe.com and install the free Flash player.

Thanks, Scott, it worked for me when I opened it in a new Chrome window. Is it a silent movie, because I heard no sound? (Very helpful btw!)

Sorry! at the time no sound was added. You were right John, that video froze so I replaced it so your computer is not at fault. Just thought I would mention it. :)
PS could add some background music if you'd like ...

VERY helpful, Bruzer! Thanks!

I started a separate thread about educating myself regarding IMG files and their creation. http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/designe … img-files/

Also interested in knowing the best way(s) to clean them up, since I've taken over a VSD site from someone else and they've got over 800 IMG files and I just know we're not using them all. :/
Thanks!

Thanks again, Bruzer. I have some reservations about VSD, but I think most of them are due to how my predecessors "designed" the site I inherited.

Extremely helpful, many thanks!
So, I keep my own source photos in another folder, VSD puts its IMG files in /files/ automatically, and VSD copies my photos/graphics there too during builds. Correct? And if I reference a PDF on my hard-drive the build process copies it into /download/ ? :| The build inspires. It seems elegantly simple to me now.
While checking the help pdf to learn about /files/ and /download/ I couldn't help but wonder why VSD doesn't create entity-specific folders with descriptive names. I like the way it lets me specify my own folder for inserting my photos and just copies them over to /files/ (but why couldn't they name it /images/ or /photosgraphics/).
Looking forward to the thrill of removing everything from the server folders and starting fresh!
