I looked at my account in google and it flagged duplicate meta tags on a some of my web pages. I looked at the webpage source and sure enough there are duplicate tile and descriptions left over from previous designs. I normally just use the edit->edit keywords and descriptions from the menu and just fill it in there.
Anyone know how to fix this in VSD?

Go to each page in VSD then hit
ctrl + alt + k
then edit your meta words for each.

Control Alt K takes me to the edit box where it has the correct info. The problem is the page source
shows other title & description tags left over from earlier edits that appear on multiple pages.
Google if flagging this as duplicate meta tags on multiple pages.

but I figured out I can edit my html pages using CC html editor to delete the duplication.

Hi Joe,

In the markup on your site right now, there are a total of 4 repeats of the <title> and both <meta> keyword and description tags. They're all in the header of the ContactUs.html and FAQ.html as well as Index.html.

You'll need to clean all pages.

Did you use the menu option to edit the meta tags but also us the menu option to edit the header and insert meta tags there too perhaps?

Check what is in both these areas before you go bringing the pages into HTML Editor to change.

I see a bunch of meta tags that were add by the user. Dbl check html boxes header html for stray tags.

I had added headers in other text boxes under the HEADER tab as Eric had mentioned.
This had been carried over from previous designs. Thank you both for helping me out.

The header html of the header boxes is convenient but sometime makes for duplicate code when not necessary. I'll comment the html box labels if there's header content on it.
