DPI setting - pages wrongly displayed...

I have a VSD site that has worked fine for a couple of years but recently customers have complained that the text is overlapping and they can't read the site correctly. It seems that they have high resolution monitors (>1280X800) and to see the fonts better, have set the DPI in Vista to be 120 instead of 96. All other sites work fine with this DPI setting, except those created in VSD. Has anyone else had this problem and come up with any solutions - I can't ask my customers to change their PC settings just to view my site.

Unfortunately, VSD's use of absolute positioning and points for font sizes requires the visitor's monitor to be set at 96dpi in order for pages to render as intended.

The only solution is to learn hand coding with an editor like the HTML Editor and code using non-wysiwyg methods, so pages render correctly regardless of screen dpi.

Thanks, I have worked around it by manually changing the point sizes to pixels - fiddly and not good long term so will have to find another editor asap.
