Dots around buttons when clicked -...
OK, first off I am using VSD 7.0 Build 24. My PC is Windows 7 and I have tested this using both IE 8 v8.0.7600.16385 and Firefox 3.6.3.
I created several buttons using a shape, buttonized them, and linked linked them to another page in the site. The background of the webpage is black and the buttons are black so only the text shows. When I put the mouse over the button nothing happens, which is how I have it set up. However, when I click the button little white dots highlight the outer edge of the button. In IE8 the dots are along the left, right and top edges. In Firefox they are on all edges. I really do not want these to show as it will not make the site look good to visitors. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
If there happens to be another thread regarding this already please forgive me as I could not find anything like this when I searched the forums. I am new to VSD but so far I am enjoying using it. Previously I used Frontpage but there are some issues with Frontpage running on Windows 7 64 bit systems so I am switching any new sites I create to VSD. I have used these forums several times already to search and find solutions to questions that the manual did not have but this one has me stumped. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Further to the info I posted earlier, I checked a few sites that were created by others using VSD and it seems that this dot issue appears on their links too whether it is a button or just a text link. You will not notice it if the background is white but if it is any other colour you will see the dots appear when you click a link.
I see this happen on links created with any other editor. Usually it's linked graphics or div with a fill. It must be part of the selection process.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.

It's nothing to do with VSD - here's how to remove it:

Because that outline was providing an important accessibility feature, you should really (really) consider adding back in a style for your links focus and active states.
