Distorted Size and Text Box - Post ID...

When I went to upload my website, I have some slight overlap of my text boxes, and font size tends to be ever so slightly different on the website which is distorting my layout. Any advice? Also, is there a way to make a non-rectangular text box? I have a picture in the upper left of a square field, and I would like my text to start at the right of the picture in a narrow column, getting wider at the bottom of the picture to fill the whole area. Thus the first half of the text box is about 2 inches wide, and the later half is about 5 inches wide (just to flesh out my description). Any advice is appreciated. I am frustrated. Surprise.

I've experienced this as well and in order to correct your text make sure you have the "Advanced Text" box checked off right under your text characteristics.
Due to differences in the way different browsers read and interpret the files make sure you check your page view with the top three browsers - any pages that skew the text probably don't have the "Advanced Text" enabled.

Hmmmm. I don't have advanced text selected and I am using arial. The site displays properly in IE, but not Firefox. I am at a loss.

Why not just move the lower text box down a bit.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

This problem is caused by small differences in the default margins, padding and leading (or line spacing) between the browsers. Well, at least one of those, anyways.
You could use the HTML Tool to insert the text as one block that will flow. Remove the two blocks of text that you have and use the HTML Tool to insert the following html code:
You won't be able to see the text in the editor, but you will be able to see the html box that contains it. You can use that box for positioning the top and left, and use preview to make sure things are lining up correctly.
The first line, <div style="width:534px">, controls the width of this content, so you can reduce the width if you'd like to add more space on the right edge of the paragraph.
