Deleting a page? - Post ID 99463
I'm sorry to ask one of those "duh" questions, but there's no way around it! Is it possible to just delete a page, while working with VSD? I've manually deleted it via the file folder, but it's still listed in the .vnu file. I've looked high and low and there doesn't seem to be a way to do it.
Thanks
Thanks

Hi Chris,
you may need to go to settings>remove files to see if it is listed there.and save!
Or go to your _website folder and delete it there as well if that's what you mean

Hi again....went to "remove files" and it's not there. Physically removed the page from the "files" file and it's still an active page, when I open the .vnu file to edit.

Hi,
you can't edit the .vnu file as it is the website template in a sense, usually when saving, it overwrites the old with the new, if you have deleted the page >saved> try closing the program and reopening by selecting the .vnu file and see if it shows again. Does that page still after you have uploaded or is this strictly in preview?
Another note could try cleaning the cache files & temp internet files....

Chris,
To delete a page within VSD, select the page from the top menu drop-down list and click the box to the left with the red 'X' in it and its gone. You wont be able to delete the index page as the delete box will be greyed out. Hope this helps.
