I stupidly put a counter on the bottom of my page, didnt like it and wanted to remove it.

Now it was one of the "free" ones and I cant get rid of it. I deleted the code but it still remained. Im am absolute beginner, and was just trying things out, to see what I liked and what I didnt, I did a few other counters that once I pressed the delete button was gone.

I have a flag counter which I like, but the counter is placed on the bottom and has ads on it and I dont want it anymore.

I cannot find where I can get rid of it. I am with hostgater and gone into index. on the c panel and i can see it there in hmtl editor and tried to delete it, but it is still on the web page, and yet there is absolutely nothing on my coffee cup web page in design mode. I really dont understand how this can happen ?

Help !! The delete didnt work - Im not sure whether you can change stuff on the c.panel but Im really frustrated by this now as its gone on every page.

The counter is not on your HOME page

But on subsequent pages

Have you deleted it individually from each page, or did you NOT put it on home page in the first place

it worked. I checked it after I removed it from the c panel and it was still there, so thought where do I go now, but obviously it worked. Now just have to go through everthing else
