Your code looks good but you files are either not in the proper location or not uploaded at all.
Your colobox/colobox.css is in the folder with the uppercase.

It's the same for your colorbox/jquery.colorbox.js

Your images are missing in action.
Use the add files tool and add all the files to their proper locations.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Good Morning!

I had deleted all previous folders and files and started from scratch, using lower case only, and it's showing me only lower case... I know that sometimes if you don't refresh your browser while on the site, after I've republished, it will still show the older version.

I've been trying to attach a screenshot of my 'add files' window... but it has been taking an eternity for it to upload to this message, so forget that.

If it finds the photos just fine when I preview the site, wouldn't it mean the photos are where they're supposed to be?

You still don't have any of the files in their proper directories at least on the server.:)

Now I am beyond confused....
Here is how my 'directory' is:
In Add Files, I created a folder called 'colorbox'. In that folder is the following:
jquery.colorbox-min.js
jquery.colorbox.js
colorbox.css
images(folder) - which contains all the images files from colorbox
photos (folder)- which contains my three photos: ocotal1.jpg, ocotal2.jpg and ocotal3.jpg

So is there somewhere else I am supposed to place the photos specifically, like somewhere on my harddrive? Do I need to do some other step in order to get the photos onto the server (S-drive)?

If you click these they don't. So your files aren't on the server.

Have you republished your site? Your directory structure may be correct on your pc but if you don't republish the site the server wont change.:)

Yeah, I've re-published it several times... it's not allowing me to attach the screen shot of the 'add files' box here for you to see. Since it shows just fine in 'Preview', is there a setting I need to change involving my S-Drive?

Maybe I should strip it all, including the page itself, and start over again, but I already did that and it didn't work...

Attachments need to be under 100k.:)
Looks like your only missing your images now.:) Don't do anything with the colorbox files.;)
Also your links to your images aren't setup correctly. Recheck the links in the htmlbox for your images and make sure their correct as my example.:)

You definitely have scrambled your files. I found where you must have tried to place your images but some how renamed them and they point to you colobox files instead.
If you look at this link it has a .jpg extension it's just not the correct file.

I would re add the images to your site with the add files tool and browse to the proper images. Make sure their the correct name before you add them.

I use the wow slider and I think it's alot easier to implement as is visual lightbox. I use both and the problems your having is why I stayed away from colorbox. Of course once you understand and add colorbox it get's easier to use too. :) ( IMO ) I agree with JoAnn

The company that puts out WoW Slider and Visual Lightbox have a bunch of different options for this too, unfortunately they aren't all free, but they are worth the cost for some of them. I did the Megabundle so for $99 bux I got I believe it was 8 or 9 programs so it was a good deal and came with both of the above as well as a bunch more for videos, menus and other things.

Anyways, something to look into till CC *hint hint* gets around to these things :)

Hey there my friendly guides!

I am NOT going to give up on Colorbox! However, I'm having too hard of a time with it and I need to get some nice pictures up on my site STAT for some potential big tour deals! So I've been playing with WoW Slider and Visual Lightbox... for my purposes right now I'd like to use WoW Slider, and it seems easy enough, but of course, I've run into a problem. I think I can figure it out but i do need to know if I need to still add the photos I want to use, plus any other files, into VSD via the 'Add Files'?
