What are folks using in VSD to collect emails. I've installed PHPlist on my host server, but its seems complicated and I don't like the subscribe pages. You cannot customize them very well. What is everyone else using? I'd like something I can customize and add to an existing website page.

I use CC's form builder for mine and manually add them to mailchimp.com but you can also use mailchimp.com code that they will provide for you to put on your site for people to use that way too. I don't remember if it was a form or if it was links to a form. They do all the list holding, signing up, cancellations and so on and they do newsletters pretty well too. Not sure if this is what you're looking for but might be worth a look.

Thanks Jo Ann. I took a look at mailchimp.com. You add them manually? I'm not sure how many subscribers I may get. Does this take you long.

nah my list isn't super large yet so I've been doing it manually, but I do know they have setups for it to be managed completely by them. Also if you use them for your newsletters the setup is on the newsletters too so people can subscribe and unsubscribe so if anyone forwards it to their family or friends they can subscribe from the newsletter and mailchimp does all the work. Works pretty slick, I've just been playing lazy lately and not really looking into swapping it over yet is all lol.
