Ok, I don't use the code very much...I just use VSD mostly. But I did copy and paste some code for a statcounter into my page using HTML Editor 2008. And it worked great. Now when I go back to HTML Editor, I don't see it at all! So then I can't remember which pages I added it to....I've probably re-added to pages that already had it. It's not there at all...why would the code just disappear?

Hi Tonya,
For best results it would good to use the html tool in Visual Site Designer and paste the code that way. Html Editor is a seperate program and any changes made to vsd will be lost upon the next upload.
When using the html tool in vsd click the tab and make a box, a window will pop up and paste your code. all you'll is the box offline, just click upload and you'll see your counter then.

It's an invisible Statcounter.....how would I know where to paste it?? I know on the HTML editor, I just put it right above the word "body" at the bottom. So maybe I can put it anywhere on the page??? I've never used the HTML tool in VSD......but maybe I will from now on...the other seems confusing to me.

The window that pops up when using the html tool has a body tab and header tab, by default the body is selected so all you have to do is just paste the code into it. offline as mentioned you'll see the box with html written on it, and it will be invisible once it's uploaded. So basically you can place the box you make anywhere, maybe at the bottom of the page. And Hi!
