I'm not sure that helps me. The upload program in VSD does the same thing as the filezilla program its just not as manual correct?

Did you check to see what your root folder was?
I would look at the directions for DreamWeaver as VSD should be pretty close as far as I could tell from the help file on Ipage.

Thank you soooo much... that was the problem. incorrect root directory. all I had to type in was "/root" and presto... thanks again :)
