Go through all the directions over and over again and still it will not load. Then I find if I try to go back and open a gallery I made – it’s not saved so I have to start all over agin. I have now done this several times and am getting rather bored with redoing it. I save it, upload it – it shows DDF WWW SEP B&A NEW_files, DDF WWW SEP B&A NEW.html, DDF WWW SEP B&A NEW.swf, and DDF WWW SEP B&A NEW.xml but I can never re-open gallery.
When I try to I get the message “a semi colon character was expected. Line: 22 overclick=”DDF WWW SEP B&A_files/” “
I have searched in the forums and whatever and see many times where people have had problems but nowhere do I see a solution. Below one example but doesn’t all make sense to someone like myself who is not a “web” person. I’m fairly good with a computer but not this stuff!
“CoffeeCup Support Knowledge Base - Why Aren't My Images Showing Up?
We have found that the most common cause for this issue is that the user has not uploaded the images folder. The program uploads this folder automatically if the built-in FTP client is used, but if you use an external FTP program, you must make sure you manually upload the images folder.
Also, make sure the images folder is uploaded to the same folder on the server as the one containing the Photo Gallery HTML file, or the SWF file will not be able to locate the images.
If you normally upload to a folder on your site called public_html, web, www, etc. the files go inside this folder. For users of Visual Site Designer, you need to add the folder "My_Homepage_Files" in addition to any previous folders to display the player on any page besides the home page. This means that some Visual Site Designer users will be uploading to the Initial Host Folder "public_html/My_Homepage_Files".”
One video saves to desktop – can you not save everything to a file in My Documents?
Another video says - Archived Version 5.9.4: Uploading Photo Gallery to VSD - Save in VSD or vnu folder – don’t need to worry about upload dialogue box as you have already saved them to your vnu folder so close upload box – open VSD – use flash to install
Seems gallery did save when it saved to My Themes but I don’t want them saved there. Don’t know if that would still work or not. If I can save the gallery then I can maybe get it to show up in my website but right now I am VERY FRUSTRATED!!!
Don’t know if better or makes a difference between Software Forums or Get Support but desperate so posting on both! Apologies if this cause any confusion. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Deborah
