I'm using VSD and it is working very well, but when I enter text using the Buttonizer, it turns slightly blurry when I preview it or publish it. I've tried different fonts, sizes and colors but the text always turns a little blurry.

Until you find the cause as I do not experience that. Consider placing text over the top of the button. You can even use the advanced text and group the button and text. then link to it. Seems like a display thing.

There is some degradation in the crispness of fonts when using advanced text or the buttonizer feature.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

It's worse with some colors (red on black for instance). I guess it has something to do with the text being converted to an image.
You might want to try making your buttons outside of VSD. Web Image Studio is a good tool to have for graphic elements (and you can get gobs of ready-made buttons and icons for it).
