I open a New Blank website and page.
I select TEXT and enter the word TEST for instance.
When I choose Buttonize or Mouse Over properties windows, nothing is active in the property boxes.
In fact in MouseOver, when I click on the hyperlink for "learn about mouseovers" the word "here" is inactive -- nothing happens except maybe the development program blinks as the "focus" shifts from the dialog to something else - but really nothing happens.
In effect, I can not build anything using Buttonize or MouseOver.

Separate question:
Can I change the theme on the fly within a website design?
In some other web design programs, the Theme could be changed as an experiment - for instance.
When I pick a Theme, I can not really see much about it and once selected, I pretty much have to delete the website or page and try another theme.
Am I wrong or is there a Theme property dialog available for those themes that I have available?

In the text box Object properties box select Allow Advanced Text.

What Eric means is that the buttoniser only works on an image, so you have to convert your text to an image before using ALTERNATIVE TEXT first, then select the buttoniser

Using CC themes : most of them are intended as a starting point (part of learning) rather than a finished design (though they can of course be permanent)

Once you develop a design you like you can place the theme into your website as a background image, using the pages tool, then at will say for instance a winter special, you can substitute another of your own designed themes in one or two mouse clicks (replacing background)

You are i think are referring to template websites on line edited, they are doing precicely the same thing, selecting a new one of their themes and placing it as the background (1 and 1) type websites. thats what you would be paying them £15.00 a month for their designs etc. etc. etc.
