On some of my web pages I have a black diamond icon with a question mark inside of it. How do I remove this?

That generally means there is some character in your page that the browser doesn't understand, I find this frequently happens when text is cut and pasted from a word processor and things like apostrophes and quotes are non standard. If you go back to your pages and see what character is causing the black diamond to appear, you can manually make the change.
