If I click on settings>standard settings for new pages>page link colors and change the link colors and apply to all pages will my individual page size and page background change? I don't have the vertical measurement on all my pages the same as the default.

Yes, Be very careful playing around with those standard settings for new pages. If you click apply to all pages, it will apply the page dimensions also.
