hello

i've very slowly been building my 1st a website . It's nearly done but I've lost some text.

There is a page called 'problems' - it should look like all the others but much of the content has disappeared (e.g. menu bar/text). What I see in the browser is not what is saved within VSD. Has the page become corrupted. I made a new one but that has the same problem.

Any thoughts?

I would suggest that you clone the homepage (as it seems to be rendering properly) to create a template of sorts for the rest of the site. This will ensure that all the elements are consistent on all pages throughout the site. Then just copy and paste the new data (text ect..) in to the template and save out the pages with the same file names. Also, I would be sure to make a backup of the website you are replacing before you begin the process.
