Anchors not working in Chrome...? -...

I followed the simple instructions here http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/how-do-i-make-links-to-different-sections-of-the-same-page/ to make some anchors in a long page.

When I preview in Firefox and Explorer, all is well. However, when I preview in Chrome, and press the link, the page only moves down until the link is (just) at the top of the page - not far enough down for the anchor to become visible.

Will it work once published? Is this just a VSD/Chrome/Preview issue?

I can't publish until I'm all done.

Thanks, folks.

How big is the html box that you used to create the anchor? Make sure it's only big enough to contain the text inside. This may help.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I have the same issue.... It has nothing to do with the preview in VSD, it happens too in a 'real' site. I'll have to set up some 'anchor' site in the HTML editor to find out is it's a VSD related program, which I didn't do yet. Maybe tonight. You'll hear from me!

I have a site created back in 2006 with the html Editor. No problem to jump to anchors in Chrome.

Did Chrome position the page the same as FX and IE?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

So it's a VSD issue. Thanks, Inger.

Yes, see for yourself: http://www.vjgk.no/sistenytt.php Click on the three links in the center near the top of the page.

It's a site that I would have liked to redesign, but I moved from the place some 4 years ago, and then they wanted someone local to take over - with the result that nothing has been done since I was 'sacked'. :| Oh well...

Thanks for your thoughts, folks.

As I understand it, VSD is just an easier way to write HTML code. So if it's possible with HTML Editor, is there some 'magic' code which can be used with VSD?

Can anyone from CoffeeCup comment on this?
