Sorry for the confusion. You can read about using the additional features of swfobject by following the link, or you can know that the script is finding your Flash menu and all is well the way it is now.

http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/wiki/documentation

I don't use VSD but I believe you can insert html code into the page using what is called the html tool.

Hi Joker,
If I may add a little something here, if the menu was made with the "Fix For Displaying Active Content", then the best bet is to use the flash tool in VSD as it will automatically add the necessary files. Hec even when not choosing that option. I was wondering if the swfobject.js was there as without it -sometimes (for me anyway) the menu has shown and then not. as explained above.

Need help! Please advise on what is going on here with the links. They appear red in all browser previews.
Thanks,
Kirk

Kristi, very nice site. I realize this is a bit OT but the text colors(black) on that very dark background is almost impossible for me to read. I mention this because some sites I go to seem to have this dark on dark feature and if I can't read it, why bother to struggle trying.
I'm still using an old browser netscape 9 for most browsing so if what I am seeing is incorrect, my browser might be at fault.
Hope this helps Wyndham

Kirk, looks like that may be your color chosen for the "visited links" located under the setting tab.
so while you previewed your pages, it shows that those pages were visited and thus the color.
Is this possible?
If so you can change the colors as described in the settings

Kristi... following up on Wyndham's comment, you might like to try out a contrast tester such as this one:

Reviving another thread. Don't wanna, believe me.

:(

Test upload works perfectly.

Uploading site fails.

"An error occurred while uploading"

But, what error?

I go to my ancient ftp s/w (on old PC) and I see that an empty "Backups" folder has been created. An empty "Files" folder has been created with an empty "Download" folder inside it.

Nothing else is making it onto my server.

I'm on a Windows 7 laptop, using the latest version of VSD, and as I said, the test works. And since the folders are there, this is not a permissions issue. Besides, I know I have all the permissions I need, I've had a website there for two years that I created the folders on and so forth.

If nothing else, I need a work-around ASAP.

oh - and if I give you the URL, you'll just get a 404 because everything old had to be removed in order to put up the new site. (sniffle)

An ASAP fix would be to use an ftp client ( direct ftp or filezilla) and open your website folder and upload everything in that folder.an example:
http://kellyinfo.com/MyFiles/tutorials/Uploads.html
til we can or you can or Support can figure this out....
