I searched for information on the following on the forums and couldn’t find it. I apologize if this is a redundant thread.

I was wondering if there is a means for adjusting the attributes of objects created in VSD. I realize I can adjust the overall size of an object, but I cannot find a way to adjust other attributes, such as the thickness, or on some objects alter the width without altering the height.

For example, is there a way to make the cross shape larger (e.g. taller and wider), while maintaining the thickness of the smaller shape? And, is there a way to make the cross wider without making it taller (when adjusting one aspect, the second aspect changes automatically on this shape, unlike the solid circle or square.)

Is there a way to manipulate the O shape to adjust the thickness of the line of the O without simply making the size larger? When the O shape is small, the line is thin. When it is enlarged, the line concurrently becomes thicker. However, there doesn’t appear to be a way to make the line of the O as thick as the user would like while maintaining the required size.

I realize I can make a shape in illustrator and add it to the site, and I realize I could use other shapes to build the shape I am looking for (e.g. use 2 lines in place of a cross / use two overlaying solid circles and make the top one the background color) but I was hoping there was a simple way to do this within the program, thus saving time. I’m hoping I am just missing something obvious here. Any help would be appreciated.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
