First of all why am I supposed to use the add file command for every little snippet of HTML that i use on a VSD page.

Secondly and much more important how do I do it?
Do I name every HTML box and save that or what?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but cannot a find a clear answer on here anywhere and that includes the tutorials :(

thanks

Hi Greg,
A liitle html code (snippet) needs to be placed into VSD using the html tool.
The add files is used if you add a external flash, or if you used a html code with an image , that image will need to be added using the add files option.
Basically if you can't see it try using the add files.

THE HOW:
in VSD select the html tool (one below the flash tool whish has the lightning bolt on it) it has 3 tabs body-header-onload.... select the body and paste your code their unless your code needs to be in the head section like a meta tag or something

Hi Bruzer
Thanks for the reply.
If I only need to add the file when it has an image attached or is external flash, why does the little box pop up telling me to use add files every time I save the file or preview it
Can I just ignore it unless I am adding an image or ext flash?

What version of VSD are you using Greg, Version 5.94 does not ask that.
Can you update yours? And I believe you have 3 radio buttons you can choose from so I would select I will add my own yada yada...
The older version asks that everytime you use the html tool
Note: a snippet can be anything you have to use the html tool for, such as counters, javascripts, iframes etc;
