Adding a Poll - Post ID 95540
Is there a way to do this from within VSD without the need for third party software?
Thanks,
George.

For a poll to work you need some way to process the information. VSD has no way to accomplish a function like that. You would need to use some sort of third party software.

How many questions do you want to ask and how many participants do you hope to get?
I have created small polls with Web Form Builder and added them to my webpage with VSD. If it's only a few questions for a hand full of people you can tally up the results very quickly by hand. More questions and more participants you can have it save the results to mysql and then run specific queries to generate your results. All of this of course takes a little time and work to do.
If you need something quick and free or cheap (depending on the size of your poll), you can always survey monkey.

There are quite a few Poll generators and HTML code sharers for Polls if you do a Google search for HTML Poll you'll come across lots of them.
I'm not sure if Bravenet has polls or not, I used to use Bravenet applications and html codes for a long time till I started learning HTML myself. I would think they would have lots of things like this. They usually have a small advertisement on their stuff for their site, but it was never real intrusive so it was pretty good. I haven't been there in ages so I don't know what they have or don't have anymore, but they had a lot of FREE stuff and some paid stuff too.
