There are several free templates you can download off of the internet. Once I download them, how do I get them into the visual site designer in a way where I will be able to edit them to my liking. Thanks for any help you can give me.

The Visual Site designer needs a special file format, a .vns file, to be able to open a template. Unfortunately, the downloadable templates from various places on the web are for regular html editors.

The VSD comes with some very nice templates built in, though.

I saw a post from someone at coffee cup responding to a complaint about the templates that you can no longer get that they are supposd to be working on but he said that it just wasn't a priority to them because they were working on new software. The problem with this response is that the templates and the phone support were two of the reasons I bought coffee cup now both are gone. As good as the software is the service and attitude of this company is very disapointing to me. I saw where they told others to download free templates from other sites and the response I have got off of my first post said I can't edit the free templates so I am confused. Oh well

Unfortunately, the free template section was only for HTML Editor, not VSD, so that wouldn't have helped much in your case. They're currently looking into ways of converting html files into VSD format, so that could open up a lot more doors and remove a ton of limitations with VSD.

Be sure to check out this link for VSD templates if you haven't already:

I'm not sure why you say the phone support is now gone.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
