How do I create the index.htm file? When I create a new website, a new page is opened up which I design and save as index.htm. But when I view the file in the website folder, it has been changed to index-v6.vnu. I then uploaded with an SFTP (secure FTP) program the entire folder, but the site is not visible and the host is saying that the problem is likely due to having an incorrectly named index file.
Can anyone here help?
trouble creating the index.htm page
These files are automatically created for you. The index-v6.vnu file is used by Visual Site Designer itself. Simply upload your Website with Visual Site Designer and all the appropriate pages will be created and uploaded to your sever. If you want to upload manually, look in the _websites folder and you will find all of your files/images.

Thanks, Scott!
Got it all working by not calling the first page index but something else instead.
Other programs may need the first page to be named index by the user, but it needs to be called something else in VSD.
