I am confused :|
I just updated my software and thought I was updating Form builder into Formbuilder light.
Then I found out that I got a complete new program. So far so good, but when I wanted to open one of my forms in light that wasn't possible. Looking better I realized that my version of Form builder 's name had changed in Form builder classic.

And now I don't know what to do, beacause I want to use new versions always but I don't want to redo about 50+ forms. And when I missed something and can use the new FB version for my existing forms why didn't I get the full version

So can I use the new version for my existing forms and do I then have to buy the full version of FB?

cheers
Henny

just incase know one else is about to answer

NEW formbuilder is html based, the old classic version was flash based and IS NOT compatible.

The light version i think we all got free as it works only on S drive

Full version you can use on any server

yep and to clarify a bit further it's like this:

Classic = the old Flash version

Lite = the previous beta and now current S-Drive Only version

Web Form Builder (full) = the brand new HTML version

And no you cannot open old forms built with the flash version in the new HTML version. They are totally different coding so you'll need to remake them in the new program if you want to have them be in HTML format.

Everyone should be already phasing OUT of using the old Classic (Flash) version and remaking all of your new forms in the new HTML 5 version. Flash is old technology and Adobe is no longer going to be supporting it. Better to start doing your transitions now then after you have a ton of unusable flash based forms. The new (HTML 5) version will be easier to use and soon will offer you more features that the old version never could have. Enjoy :)

Where, on Abode's website, is that stated? Link please.

Nov 10th 2011 CNN Money Article wrote:
"HTML5 is now universally supported on major mobile devices, in some cases exclusively," wrote Danny Winokur, Adobe's general manager of interactive development, in a blog post on Wednesday. "This makes HTML5 the best solution for creating and deploying content in the browser across mobile platforms."

As a result, Adobe plans to stop developing its Flash app for Google (GOOG, Fortune 500) Android and Research In Motion (RIMM) BlackBerry Playbook devices -- the two mobile platforms it developed for -- though it will continue to support them and update them with bug fixes. As part of its move, Adobe said late Tuesday that it is laying off 750 members its staff.

I'm SO GLAD that CoffeeCup saw the writing on the wall and came out with a HTML5 version :)
