I'm not clear on what you are asking.

Are you trying to make a link that looks like the one you posted in your last post? If that's what you are trying to do the best way is just use a Wordpress site. What that is, is a Wordpress 'permalink'. It's one of the link structures that WP uses.

I'm attaching an image of the permalink section of WP so you can see what the different settings are. The one you really want is the next to the last or the last (custom) which will let your post links look like an html page. That's the most SEO friendly link.

If you're trying to do that with an html site you will have to name your page or pages with an SEO friendly name like the example I gave previously.

If that's not clear I really don't mind getting on Skype or the phone and talking. Just let me know.

It will allow me to call data from a database based on the path and filename rather than depending on query parameters.

On the other hand, I'm also learning about using WP because I have three sites coming up that I'm going to have to create in Wordpress, so your permalinks information is very well timed. Thank you!
