Recreate my website with Site...

My site, https://physiomedicalism.com/, is straight html. I want to recreate it and make it responsive with Site Designer v3. I only want to make a few changes such as widening the main content to about 700px, but everything else will remain the same...

I found a site that is similar, https://pestlogbook.com/ by Eric Rohloff, and was wondering if I could get the theme from you or if you can tell me how to recreate my site.

I have tried several times and it comes out off sided, aka not centered, the sidebar doesn't show up and all sorts of difference problems... since I just bought Site Designer v3, I realize it's a bit over-achiever, but it's how I learn programs...

I just need a little help in the beginning to set me on the right track... Can anyone help?

Eric will have to reply to this himself, but as far as I can see, his site is also straight html, not based on any 'theme'. To me it seems he has just created the responsiveness by using media queries.

With my -so far - limited knowledge of SD3, I would not be able to tell if there are any shortcuts to what you want to do (I could have told you in just html and css, though). If I were to do this job, I think I would have started from scratch. But hopefully, others here might be able to give you different advice.

My Pestlogbook site started with a HTML Editor theme but I altered it a lot. It uses media queries with simple stacking because it's a site meant to be an app. I have messed around and made parts of the site with RSD because the pages had more information and I wanted to test using it.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Thanks for the feedback, however, I wanted to know How to recreate the website without going to full blown responsive, i.e. large intros, huge images, etc.

The owner wants the website to be exactly as it is, but able to bring it up on a cell phone and a table. I am having problems making the background and content area match without adding plenty of margins or paddings...

As you can see in the image, even with a 91 margin plus padding, it's not centered, there are whites around the menu (don't know where they came from) and trying to put a border around the content (body) area has me scratching my head for hours.... :)

I guess I will have to spend more time learning the program, which is very cooollll... I am also learning CSS Grid, which may help in recreating all the HTML sites I maintain... and I thought it would be easy. :)

Hi, if you want someone to look into your problem and help, then it would be better if you post the actual project file. Just seeing an image doesn't tell us what you have done to center the contents.

But adding a lot of margin/padding is not the best way to center something. Try setting the right and left margin to auto. Or, if you know your way around flexbox, use justify-content to center it.

Karen,
I have first-hand experience with a customer who wanted how his site appeared on the desktop to appear exactly the same way on a cell phone. There are some things to consider. If you like, my contact info is below and I'll discuss further.

Did you know that Web Form Builder can be used for both simple and complicated forms and that it's not limited to the default fonts and buttons? Take a look at a form we developed for WindowTinting.com.
