Newbie trying to put together my first online course. Want to break up material into chapters and have a Next/Previous option as well as TOC to allow for more flexible nav.
What is the easiest way to do all the linking? Any automation options or is it just manual?
I'm trying to set this up for easy updates in the future, so I thought I should ask first. BTW, I'm using a frames structure.

What program are you using to create the pages?
If you are using the CoffeeCup HTML Editor, there is a spider function. You can use that to create a TOC.
I have seen javascript listed for next/previous, but I just create the links as I need them. If you want to go with the javascript method, just do a search for "next previous" and you should find something.
Not sure why you are using frames. I think you will find that search engines may have a problem with that, but it is still valid code.
